1/21:

Sundance exhibitors enjoyed an exciting time at the East Coast Open Horse Show Circuit awards banquet.  They were presented with 13 trophies! "Celestial Design" won highpoint Champion for the Halter 3 and Over division, with our famous stallion, "Rocker Fellas Event," earning Reserve Champion.  "Class A Hazmat" and "In The Event of Chaos" earned third and fourth respectively.  "CHF Hearts Desired Event" (a/k/a "Val") won highpoint Champion for the 2 and Under Saddle/Pleasure type division, and Reserve Champion for the overall Saddle/Pleasure type division.  "Class A Hazmat" earned an "Achievement of Honor" award as well.

1/14:

Lessons have begun! Katie did a wonderful job riding "Shiloh." They took the jump and did a nice sitting trot.  Nicole did a great job riding "Gladys." She even took her first jump and cantered! Ellie rode "Dream," and they both showed each other off! They had a beautiful ride today.  Kaitlyn rode "Angel," and did a good job of being "the boss" on her.  Rebecca rode "Buttercup" and did a great job on her! They took the jump a few times too! Emily Hadnott rode "Angel" and "Shiloh" today in her lesson.  She did wonderful, and smiled the whole time.  Welcome back students! The horses are ready, are you? Be sure to check out the Schooling Horses page to see more pictures of yourselves.

1/14:

"Uno," our New Year's colt, came out today.  He tooted around the barn yard strutting his stuff! Enjoy the picture.

1/14:

Kaitlyn enjoyed riding Stephanie's show horse, "Blue Attitude," today.  She did a fantastic job riding this mare.  Who knows what the show season holds...

1/1:

Matt Joyner cooked a beautiful ham on the grill for us today.  Thanks to the Hadnott Family for donating it.  Cynthia cooked potatoes and black-eyed peas.  We had a great time visiting with our friends at the barn.  We worked some of the new schooling horses, as well as some of the show horses.  Stephanie brought her mare over to exercise her with the team.  Everyone had so much fun! The wet-weather held off until the sun went down.

The New Year's rain brought showers of smiling faces this evening. "CHF Good Deeds" foaled a colt by "Rocker Fellas Event." Here are a couple of pictures taken just hours after he was born.  The mare is not a fan of the camera flashing after she has just delivered, so the number of pictures are limited to these two at this time.
